Tixel has been available and evolving in Europe for almost a decade. Our annual pilgrimage to the Aesthetic Medicine World Congress in Monaco (even during COVID!), lets us become informed of developing technologies and watch their progression in the rest of the world, giving us insight into the future of what we will be doing in our country. Dr. D. has been in on the Tixel secret for a while and is excited to see this technology finally FDA-approved.
CFA was one of the first 25 US practices to get the technology in 2021, and since then, we have spent many months exploring the capabilities, developing our own unique protocols, and integrating this device with our other technologies like Ultherapy, Vivace microneedling, and PRP regenerative medicine. We initially used ourselves and our staff as models (i.e., “the Guinea pigs” ) to create the treatment protocols to deliver the most powerful results while maintaining safety and showcasing the true potential of Tixel technology when blended with our other proven anti-aging treatments.
Tixel is an elegant, simple thermal technology that delivers superior results without a laser and with minimal to no downtime compared to older technologies. The treatment itself is much more comfortable than laser-based technologies, and many patients have described it as nearly painless and can be used anywhere on the body.
